Hi, my name is Matthew Monroe. I'm a student here at William Peace University and today I'm going to show you what it's like as a student here at WPU. Come on.
So right behind me we have Belk. Belk is gonna be where we have our Dining Hall but also where Student Involvement is located for students to come and hang out. This is where students are gonna hang out here.
Second up, we have the Student Government and Programming Association, which is basically SGPA. I'm a part of SGPA. I'm also part of six-plus organizations here on campus. Here at Peace, we have over 32 plus organizations.
So behind me, we have Ross Residence Hall. Ross Residence Hall is one of our first few residence halls here on campus. A few highlights about the residence halls here. Laundry is included as your time here at Peace. You also can choose your roommate so if you know someone that's going to Peace as well, you can request to have him be your roommate. Follow me inside. So this is what a traditional room will look like here at Peace. Yeah, as you can see, you have two dressers, two beds, and you also get two desks.
So this is Joiner House. This is going to be a full-time health service for students here on-campus. We have an on-campus doctor who's going to be here three days out of the week. And then we also have an on-campus nurse who's going to be here five days a week. Also, you have free counseling care on campus. Some days, you got to just talk it out.
So this is the first floor of Belk which is going to be our Dining Hall. As you can see, we have a range of eating options from our daily line to our pizza line and our main line. Also, if you have any dietary restrictions, let Sodexo know and they will take care of you. Hello! Can I get the grilled chicken, rice, and gravy and cabbage? Thank you so much.
I chose WPU because I was able to grow as an artist but also be able to grow as a person. I'm a student ambassador here at WPU and I cannot wait to give you a tour.
