Peace Online is a high touch program and we offer all of our online students access to an academic success coach and they also have access to all of our academic support services. An online program is beneficial for me because I'm somebody that is currently working and continuing to build my resume and at the same time I wanted to continue my education and have a degree so that in the future I can apply that towards the field I want to get into.
Our programs are designed for working adults and we offer programs in business, administration, criminal justice, education, nursing, marketing, as well as some licensure-only programs in the field of education. Peace Online combines immersive learning, which is actively applying knowledge into practice in a way that is engaging for students so that when you're online, you're actually collaborating sometimes in real time, sometimes asynchronously.
My reasoning for joining the online program is because I'm a busy mom of five. I work full-time and it just makes sense. I was looking at other online options but what stood out to me was that I was able to transfer so many of my credits to William Peace, and so it just made more sense. This is something for me. It's not for my children, it's not for my husband, it's mine, it's something that I get to do for myself.
So Peace is great because it does allow you to use the resources on campus. It's centrally located in Raleigh, so anyone with an area can easily get here. You can use the library and whatever you need on campus, you can come enjoy.
