Day in the life: Diana Cisneros

Diana shares her authentic student experience at William Peace University as a human resource management major who commutes to campus. Her typical day begins with parking near the library and walking to her classes, which she describes as both immersive and intimate since making the decision to transfer to Peace.

The practical nature of her coursework in marketing and project management keeps her engaged and prepared for her future career. During breaks between classes, she enjoys visiting the dining hall to grab a snack and connect with friends, or taking a short five-minute walk to Yellow Dog for their renowned ice vanilla lattes and fresh pastries.

The Finch Library serves as her preferred study spot, where she particularly enjoys sitting upstairs near the windows to gaze out over the campus while working on assignments. On pleasant weather days, she takes her ethics book outside to unwind in the hammocks near Bingham Hall, blending relaxation with her academic responsibilities.

Hi, my name is Diana and I recently transferred to Peace and I love it here. Welcome to a day in my life. Since I commute to campus, I usually park over by the library and then walk over to my classes.

As a human resource management major, a lot of my courses like marketing and project management are in flow. What I like about my classes since transferring is how immersive and intimate they are.

Between classes, I'll head upstairs in the dining hall to grab a snack and catch up with friends or take a five minute walk over to Yellow Dog to get a pastry and a coffee. Their ice vanilla lattes are amazing.

I also spend a lot of time studying in the Finch Library. Upstairs, I like to sit by the window and look out over campus while I work. The view is really nice.

And on a nice day, I'll take my ethics book outside and relax in the hammocks by Bingham Hall. That's a day in the life of an HR management student at Peace. Now, if you don't mind, I've got some reading to do.
